- AD Juarez expressed
disappointment in continuing to ask for a copy of 2005-06 paperwork submitted
to NSTC from regions for the area folder that he maintains - please submit

League - briefly discussed and asked if any regions were interested
- Jamie
Powers elected RC for another consecutive three year term. He has been the R17 RC for 15 years. NOTE:
R165 Sandy Caplinger has been RC for 20 years.
- Goal Line –
the January 17 edition highlighted R18 and RC Harry Andreas. AD suggested all RC’s submit their name
- R18 is
celebrating 35th year in AYSO – in conjunction with the
anniversary RC Andreas is working with the City of Manhattan Beach to put
in turf on two fields – Village and Marine
- LA
Avengers indoor football promotion for February 18, 2006 -- $11.00 per
person. Call Tara Weldon at (310)

- Area
league playoffs completed on Sunday – everyone who is moving on to
Riverside from Area D has been notified.
AD thanked Spencer White for his continuous effort in getting the
stats out to the coaches.

- All Stars
Coaches – paperwork given to AD Juarez MUST be validated by the RCs. Make sure all coaches are registered
volunteers, Safe Haven certified, and age-specific coach certified. This should appear in eAYSO. Several coaches do not meet the
qualifications for All Stars and will continue to work with the respective
RCs to either get them onboard or remove them off the roster. Paula Borstel (R34) and Ray Perez (R17) have
agreed to step up to help with R1345 coach duties.
- Free Agent
Photo – Passed by board except R92 RC. Area D will receive 10% of sales,
vendors will be wearing area badges and blue t-shirts with logos, will
dump photos not purchased, and nothing to be put on the website. Parents will
have the right to not have their kids photographed.

Thanks to all of our
regional administrators and assignors for great support for staffing Area 1D
League tournament matches.

Roger Stevenson is managing
the Section One League and All Star assignments for our Area. The Riverside Tournament is scheduled for the
weekends of March 4-5 and 11-12.

Area coaches interested
in Referee support for tournament teams should contact the Referee
Administrator. We are making an effort
to put referee teams together to support spring teams.
